The individual developer ("Operator") operating "Circle Battle" ("Service") establishes and discloses the following privacy policy to protect users' personal information and to handle related complaints promptly and smoothly.

1. Purpose of Processing Personal Information

The Operator processes personal information for the following purposes. Personal information being processed will not be used for any purpose other than those stated below.

• Account management: User identification, verification of intent to register, identity verification, prevention of fraudulent use
• Service provision: Circle drawing game, game score storage, ranking calculation and display
• Service improvement: Analysis of service usage records for service improvement and new feature development

2. Personal Information Collected

The Operator processes the following personal information items.

a. Required items

• Social login information: email address, name (or nickname)

b. Optional items

• Affiliation (company, school, etc.)

c. Automatically collected items

• Game scores, gameplay records
• App access timestamps

d. Guest Mode

• No personal information is collected in Guest Mode. Game scores are stored only on the device and are not transmitted to the server.

3. Retention and Use Period

The Operator processes and retains personal information within the period agreed upon by the user or as required by law.

• Account information: Until account deletion
• Game records: Until account deletion

However, the following data may be retained for the specified period as required by applicable laws:

• Communication confirmation data under the Protection of Communications Secrets Act: 3 months
• Records related to display and advertising under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce: 6 months

4. Disclosure to Third Parties

The Operator processes users' personal information only within the scope specified in Section 1 and does not provide it to third parties without prior consent of the user.

Exceptions include:

• When the user has given prior consent
• When required by law or to comply with legal obligations

5. Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing

The Operator outsources personal information processing as follows for service provision.

6. Destruction of Personal Information

The Operator destroys personal information without delay when it is no longer needed, such as when the retention period has expired or the processing purpose has been achieved.

• Destruction procedure: When a user requests account deletion, the destruction process begins immediately.
• Destruction method: Electronic files are deleted using technical methods that prevent the records from being reproduced.

7. Rights of Users

Users may exercise the following rights regarding their personal information at any time:

• Request to access personal information
• Request correction of errors
• Request deletion
• Request to suspend processing

These rights may be exercised through the "My Page" screen within the Service or by contacting the Operator via email.

8. Security Measures

The Operator takes the following technical and administrative measures to ensure the security of personal information:

• Encryption: Users' personal information is encrypted during storage and transmission. SSL/TLS security protocols are used for data transfer.
• Access control: Access to personal information is restricted to the minimum necessary.
• Security rules: Firebase security rules are applied to allow only authorized access.

9. Cookies and Automatic Data Collection

The Operator does not use cookies. Only the minimum information necessary for service provision is stored through Firebase.

10. Privacy Officer

The Operator designates a privacy officer to oversee personal information processing and handle user complaints and remedies.

11. Changes to This Policy

This privacy policy is effective from the effective date. If there are additions, deletions, or modifications due to changes in laws, policies, or security technology, the changes will be announced through the Service at least 7 days before implementation.

Changes that are unfavorable to users will be announced at least 30 days in advance.
